Reiki Master, Holistic Massage Therapist, Fire Cupping & Sound Bath Practitioner, Birth Doula, Experienced Yoga Teacher & Meditation Guide

Based out of Costa Mesa, CA, Mickee helps people connect back to themselves & find balance. She serves as a guide for the body’s natural healing processes & feels that the true work is done by the person in session. She believes that every body is different & provides customized, comprehensive care based on the person’s needs, that day. What worked to rebalance the energy before may not be what body needs the next time around, so the practice stays in flow.

Studies and Trainings

Mickee received her Bachelors of Science from San Diego State University in 2013, at the same time she completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training.

It was during her second 200 hour training, roughly a year later, that Mickee was introduced to & attuned for Usui Reiki energy healing. This practice paired naturally with the yoga asana practices she was leading & became a frequent addition to her group & private classes.

Dedicated to helping women and families, Mickee completed her Birth Doula training under Ana Paula Markel of Bini Birth in 2016 & her Postpartum Doula training in 2018 with Kathrin Auger of LA Doula.Diving even deeper into yoga & supporting pregnant people, Mickee studied Prenatal Yoga at Ra University in 2021.

Mickee was trained in fire cupping by a Naturopathic doctor & acupuncturist in 2019 & loves seeing the benefits this technique brings to her clients.

She is fully trained and completed certifications in Prenatal, Labor & Postpartum Massage, Circulatory Massage & Sports Massage. By June 2022, this study will have extended into Tui Na (acupressure) Massage & Shiatsu.

Mickee completed her massage therapy licensing program through Healing Hands in Laguna Hills in 2022. Massage was a natural addition to her extensive list of services, as hands on healing is in the forefront of interest in her practice.

Specialty Practices

Alongside a doctor of chinese medicine, Mickee developed a practice they called Reiki for the Womb. Based off her experience in clinic at Orange County’s premier fertility focused wellness center, Mickee launched her fertility, prenatal, postpartum and women’s wellness Reiki practices.

Reiki massage was added to the schedule in November 2021 & combines the benefits of energetic & physical body healing.

Prenatal, labor & postpartum massage specialty service followed shortly after. Mickee incorporates her training as a birth doula with the physical comfort & feelings of wellbeing brought by massage to support mommas in all stages of pregnancy, from preconception through postpartum.
